I have many things that I have had for decades. That being said, they are not worn, torn or forlorn.... Some of my books are a tad dog eared or creased. I tend to take care of tools and possessions. Cheers, RickO
while i havne't posted anything i KNOW i have some worn things around here. i am a BIG proponent of getting a lot of miles out of the things in my life, apparently including my life. lol
i did get rid of a bunch of socks with holes in them recently but no pics. i considered darning the nicer brands/type but haven't yet. i said get rid of but that equates to put into a bag to use for rags so since it takes so long to use things in that bag, they could still be given new life. unlikely though.
You just know someone is going to post thier tightly whiteys that is nothing but an elastic band.
I did finally have to retire these after I wore them slam through the soles. They saved a bunch of other shoes!

@amwldcoin I can literally smell those shoes through the screen. If I saw you wearing those in public, I would probably hand you a $5 bill or a sandwich.
Actually they never stunk. Now you talk about embarrassing...there was a time or 2 I headed to the Post Office and looked down standing in line and there they were! They were really comfortable!

I have a bag of pocket errors that I carried years ago, but just for a couple years. Got some good wear on various off centers & a 1975S proof set.
Due to my short-lived coin wearing experiment, which was hard on my pockets, I recognize you as THE KING of pocket worn pieces !!!
These are clearly from a rock tumbler. Am I right?

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line. This one is wore down. It's a 1883 with cents. I won't show you a picture of myself.

No pictures but I had a glock 19 that I had put maybe 6-8k rounds through - and honestly it functioned better with all that wear. Slide and trigger were super smooth. It was my favorite gun, not sure why I sold it.

You probably sold it to buy a coin.

If it was a Gen 1 (or even a Gen 2) Glock they're quite collectible in their own right.

I was told this came out of a Convent in Europe dating back over two hundred years. That grabbed my attention as an artist. I'm not Catholic, but my mother was an obedient pupil in her Parochial School in San Francisco in the 1940s. She only spoke kindly of the nuns.

Almost all of those were "produced"in a washing machine for sure.
