I'm new to error hunting and I'm looking at quarters, does this look right to you?

At first I thought there was some doubling in the letters, and I'm still not sure of that, but then I looked at the area to the right of Washington's mouth, isn't this a common error but a lot smaller? Wisdom is appreciated

To be honest I didn't even notice that, I was talking about the area around washington's mouth, kind of a different version of the error I just posted.
Now that you say that though it's obvious. Thank you for pointing it out!
You may be referring to a shadow like effect. It also exists on the letters CROS,T, DEL. No value there. Coin does have wear.
It looks like die wear to me... I do not see evidence of DDR there.... Cheers, RickO
