PVC damage?

    @charlesf20.... I cannot determine anything conclusively from that picture. PVC will usually have a 'green' texture.... If you can post larger pictures with good resolution, it would help. Alternately, soak it in acetone (100%)... if it is PVC or other organic residues, it will be removed. Follow the removal with another, clean, acetone rinse. Cheers, RickO

    It is probably just some sort of gunk rather than PVC. It is impossible to say for sure from that photo.
