New Red Book Purchase- Signed 1980 Edition

Finally picked up a signed Red Book. Made out to an Alva Christensen. A little research and I believe this to be the same Alva Christensen of Christensen and Stone coin dealers. Book is in great shape and doesn't appear to have ever been used.

Were they contributors to the 1980 edition? If so it may be a thank you book from Whitman and Yeoman.

Nice. I’ve been collecting 1920-40 books, catalogs. Different times 😉

Nice 'exonumia' item to have. I collected Redbook editions for years, I forget what date the earliest I have is.... Stopped after I retired and now just get the Mega every couple of years. Cheers, RickO

Seeing this list makes me feel old, being one of only about 25% of this group that is still with us. Christensen and Stone held very nice exonumia mail bid sales.
