Peace dollar belt buckle...,....

Anyone else collect these?

I don't know if I will ever use them but I thought they were cool to own (and price is not bad).
Thanks.

This one passed through my hands a few years back:

I don't collect them, but I do buy and sell them once in awhile. I have a 1909-S VDB gilt cufflink that is pretty cool. Haven't purchased a Peace dollar belt buckle in a few years, but I have bought/sold a few Morgan belt buckles.

I like your pieces. Is the bottom buckle enameled, or is that blue paint?

My dad had two, 1 peace $ and the other was Eisenhower. Don't know he did with them

I once had a Morgan Dollar that had obviously been in a belt buckle at one time.
I can imaging some "big ol' boy" walking around, proud of his silver dollar.

The thing was, the coin was a vintage counterfeit (from the "micro-o" family).

I have purchased a couple of these over the years... still have one or two. Usually ended up taking the Morgan or Peace out of the buckle. When they turn up at flea markets, antique shows, yard sales etc., they are usually well below the price of silver. Cheers, RickO

Here are some. I have worn the double dollar one since the 70's.The other 2 are too large to wear.

No belt buckle but I picked this up a long time ago. It has nice patina, originally I thought I might use it as a money clip but didn't want it to end up looking cleaned and polished from the pocket wear.

I used to collect them. Only ones in sterling silver settings. I've sold all of them off except this one and a matching Morgan in a sterling western style bolo tie setting
