Found in 1967 SMS set its not a light refection but...

Photos are not the best.. also see doubling on "In God" … it seems like clear separation but maybe machine doubling. Not in cherry pickers..
Can you see it?

It appears to be one of the many doubled dies that the 1967 SMS halves have. ATS has a designation in their variety service that is a catch-all for these because there are so many different ones if I remember correctly. Nice find!
Variety Vista might be able to help, I'll hop over there and see if I can match it to a listing.

It looks like it may be DDO-011 or DDO-013. I can't tell for sure form the pictures, but both have die markers listed that should be definitive in hand. Here's the link to help: http://www.varietyvista.com/12 Kennedy Halves/DDOs 1967.htm
Good luck, hope this helps!

Thanks!! all along the profile is doubled also, chin ,lips nose, eye
I carefully went through all the varieties. Mine is different. I have the advantage of having the coin in hand. I think it might be a new variety. Not a big deal, but Ill have to keep working on it. Thanks for the link!
Give the coin a bit of a tilt, lower the density of the light. Just a thought.
Photos are spot on, now lets see your best. Also sometimes an outside source of light added, helps.
Keep in mind not to distort what you see in hand.
Cool !
I cannot detect any serif separation in those pictures. So, at best, it will be a very minor DDO... That being said, if a collector is assembling a set of these varieties, then it will need to be attributed. Cheers, RickO
