No the prices will not increase. By the time they get done messing this up who knows how long before anything happens. Next year then skip a couple years.
I think they would have stayed more desirable and therefore more valuable if the 2022 series had gone forward. Because if the 2022 proofs were nice people might get those for the first time and then want the 2021 for the series. Every new year minted will make the original first of the series more valuable compared to a one and done.
Nope, if it was the start of a series the value is higher. Now it is just another commem. If/when the series resumes the value of the 21 will go up. Just my guess, who knows
They will stay flat but still a good buy to hold as long as they do continue the series. I’m in long term so I don’t care. But wish that they did come out with both guns a blazing. Dang it.
I believe the value will hold for now. With a gap (2022) in what might have been a series, it will cause many collectors to lose interest. Now, it will be either the first in a short series, or possibly, just a single issue. The market will, for the most part, wait to see which way it goes. Cheers, RickO

I think they will stay the same. The Mint pretty much said they plan to continue the series, just not next year.
Collector, occasional seller

🎶 shout shout, let it all out 🎶
Yes like the national debt, inflation and interest rates.
I didn’t keep many of mine for this reason but it is a bonus.
No, they will drop
No
Any delay on continuing the series will increase the price of existing coins.

Hoard the keys.

They will slowly move down in price as people sell off more of them. Was not a low enough mintage to hold long term value.

Contrary post...Yes... recent auction results and in shop sales have been trending up....can't say why...just that they are.
Many more interested parties and levels of demand than the normal Mint offerings.
I would not underestimate demand, prices are firming up and GC has done well to put them with the regular Morgan series. Savvy.
Don’t worry Dan Carr will make the 2022s
short term bump then a drop like a stone in water....
Remember when the Buffalo Dollars would never come down? They held up for a while though!
No, the price will go down
