Found In The Mud

BLUEJAYWAY

While outdoors working. Sorry no photos. Brass, slightly smaller than a half dollar. No reeding on edge. Half thickness of a quarter. Obverse: 20 stars in a circular pattern along the rim. Eagle in center with wings spread. Shield under Eagle. Reverse:"No Cash Value". Dentils in a circular pattern along rim. Medal orientation, both sides facing up. Any ideas? Arcade token?

Never thought of the car wash token.

Very standard generic "no cash value" token. No cash value is appropriate.

No Headlights

Chuckie Cheese here you come. I found a couple in a Coinstar last year.

The pictures by @nhofer perfectly fit your description. Looks like a good addition for your curio file.... Cheers, RickO

From what you’ve described, sounds like a standard arcade token.
Example

While I’ve mostly seen them used at arcades, like MsMorrisine said, they are somewhat common at car washes too!

That is it. Thanks for the photos/description.

I’ve pulled these from coinstar reject trays
