Error with the date

I have an Indian head , small, penny that was not stamped with a one on the date . It just has 890 instead of 1890. How can I get it certified and appraised for sale

Without pictures, you won't get much help, only guesses. My guess would be worn or possible grease filled. Not much value over original value.

Odds are it’s a filled die -the coin is worth a Premium; But one not to get too excited over

@Tscottie... Welcome aboard. You can post a link, but need to wait a couple days to post pictures directly. We will need the pictures to confirm the condition...but likely what @FredWeinberg said. Cheers, RickO

    Submitting to PCGS
How do I submit to PCGS for grading and authentication?

PCGS offers two ways to submit for grading and authentication. You may either join the Collectors Club or locate a PCGS Authorized Dealer to submit on your behalf.

    Many happy BST transactions
