Here’s some 1926 gold
Nothing wrong with 1926! I mean, I wasn't around but I assume the coins were nice enough.

1926 actually got some numismatic recognition, as was commemorated as the sesquicentennial year.

The 1926 is the hardest of the common saints to find in MS66
This one took awhile but it wasn't that expensive unless you count the hours I spent looking.

That was my dad's birth year. It's always good to see that year 🙂
Great examples - made me weekend!
No quarter eagles yet.
Lincoln is MS66+RD w/CAC. Sesquicentennial was bought as a 65, but upgraded by PCGS to a 65+. Also has a CAC:

No Mercs posted here. So Sad. The 1926-S is the KEY to the Mercury Dime Series in MS/MS FB so I would call it popular for the people that don't go through their coin life staring at the mintage figures in the red book with blinders on. I do not have one to share at the moment but maybe someone will come along to help spice up this thread.

The 1926-S cent, nickel and even dime are either keys or semi-keys for their respective series. Very much desired but not cheap.
By the way your 1926 buffalo nickel has fabulous luster and hammered strong strike on the reverse as well.
@Che_Grapes I love this 1926, just thought it might need some older supervision, after all it is halloween!
