Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

Hair inside a slab. Does it damage the coin after awhile or is it harmless? Distracting it is.
I just got one in a PCGS slab. I guess the electronic charge of the plastic attracts hair...would
PCGS remove the hair without changing the label?? Would you leave it alone or keep it as is?
Any other slabbed hair out there??

Call customer service. I would think they would reslab it at no charge. Cheers, RickO
That picture makes it look like a strike through!
.
just because it looks like a strike through SO much from that image, can we get a different angle to be certain?
I never realized how big her nose is!!
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
@LanceNewmanOCC Here's the best I could do...it's a fine hair, perhaps a fiber from a sweater or the way it's broken up near the curve on the right side could it be an insect leg??

the Title to this post cracks me up! so funny, although this particular hair saga is no laughing matter
<-- I have this capped bust dime with target toning that has a small hair on the reverse. The coin is in a generation 2.1 holder (slabbed late 1989) and in 32+ years, there have been absolutely no disruptions to the toning, new secondary toning, spots, or any other type of negative reactions due to the hair.
The toning means the surface has already reacted. The hair is too late to the toning party.
Should the op get it to pcgs in some cost effective manner they will reholder it without a label change
Sounds like a good idea. I'll post back here with more positive results hopefully!
Noticed Liberty has a dark spot on her throat.
Yeah, I saw that too, not at first though, not until after I magnified it and took the photos.
Maybe that's where the hair came from?
Thought of an old Mr Bean episode when I notice your subject line.
P.S. I'd leave it as is, you get
bragging and conversation rights for many years
You sure that’s not a “dark and curly” ? 😬
I had the same problem but at least it was a three prong holder so when I tapped it I can see it on the bottom of the holder and didn’t want to send it back for a two or three month haircut. So I sold it off on feebay.
Hoard the keys.
