TrueView Turnaround?

I sent two express orders in, one for grading and one for reconsideration, and both were shipped in 15 calendar days (not business days) so beat the 15 day eta by a fair bit. The TrueViews are however not available on calendar day 28. What has been your most recent experience waiting for TrueViews? I anticipate mine to drop soon and have been patiently waiting (checking my orders 5x a day at least) but would appreciate insight on any real-world recent experience. Thank you!

One month after shipping right now. Ish.
"It's like God, Family, Country, except Sticker, Plastic, Coin."
I don’t understand what is the cause of the delay?
Currently up to 30 days
The images are shot, the coins shipped, then it takes weeks to upload the images. Can't help but wonder why they are unable to provide this service in a timely manner. For many years the images were posted with days of the coins shipment date.
Hi
We've added a new full time editor last week to help us get images online. We intend to add more editors to get images online in a more timely manner.
While we work to get up to speed you can always email us at photography@collectors.com and politely ask us to get your order online. We can assemble the order rather promptly in those instances.

Phil,
Your response is much appreciated!
Phil has always been a straight up guy.
Yes, I agree, thank you for that update. I waited for 3 weeks after receipt of coins.

Nice response from Phil.... Looks as if they are trying to rectify the situation and all should be back to normal soon. Cheers, RickO
Like many businesses, the demand for service is crazy everywhere. They are doing the best they can. Take a deep breathe, count to 10. CAC has issues meeting the demand as well. It’s everywhere. I too have a coin that I paid Express fees for and I have had the coin for a month and the images aren’t up. I can wait my turn.
Really make sure you need those photos up before you just contact the photographers. If everyone asks to jump the line, no one will jump. It’s a nice gesture to offer this, but let’s make sure that we aren’t abusing this. Phil and his team have always been responsive, let’s not abuse this offer.
I waited 1 week and needed the truview for a sale. I called and they got it posted in 1 day.
Thanks PCGS!
Phil,
Your response is much appreciated! I called as well and the images were posted in 1 day.
So glad someone posted this. I thought my show submission at Long Beach missed the model shoot, as I got the coins back there and the order still says IMAGING. It makes sense. Rather have the coins back in hand than wait for the imaging to get online. Have something to look forward to and to check each morning, like I do with Dan Carr's offerings.
Hey Phil,
Can you get my coins graded faster? I don't mind waiting on pictures.
Thanks! Your friend,
Lance.
Got this email from Elizabeth in customer service.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting PCGS Customer Service. We apologize for the delay. Our photo department is experiencing a backlog, at this time it may take up to 30 business days from the time an order was shipped for the images to be uploaded.
We sincerely appreciate your patience while we work to assist you as soon as possible.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Elizabeth

It is great to see that PCGS is busy. Collector's Universe is really growing. Things sure have changed from 30 years ago.
We were wondering the same regarding Trueview photos, as we have an Express submission (received 1/21/22 and shipped 2/18/22) with one missing Trueview. It was a four coin submission (three silver, one copper) and the TVs for the silver came fairly quickly, but the Lincoln cent still has not been photographed.
Not a big deal. We just took our own photos for that one coin. Never as nice as PCGS's Trueview photos, but enough to sell the coin, especially since it is graded.
I called and politely asked about a submission that I had waited 28 days for TrueViews. She asked me to wait 2 more days and call back..

My TrueView images from a Show submission at Long Beach just came in. It was a month. Can live with that.
Here is the reverse for one of the coins. If you have never seen an 1877-S FS-801 DDR before, here is one. (The FS-802 DDR is fairly common. This one is extremely difficult to locate.)
Hey Everyone... just curious to see what the wait times are for TV's. I submitted a coin for Express service at Baltimore (4/1/22) and got the coin back about a month ago, but still no Trueview. It's going on two months now since submission. Are others experiencing this as well?
