Has a unique surface strike ... graded MS64 and cac ... was not VAM designated but I think it is 1F
May reslab with PCGS with VAM designation but then I’ll lose the cac sticker...

im on fumes here but there is a way to do re-subs with pcgs and get the sticker back.
since cac is on restricted status for now, i'm not sure how they're handling restickers. either look up the thread(s) or shoot them an email/call.
In the past, collectors who had coins relabeled that were previously CAC stickered, simply sent the coin and information to CAC and had a new sticker applied. There was a process... Though as noted above, things are a bit tight at CAC right now. Suggest you call them. Cheers, RickO
As long as the cert number doesn't change, and for variety attribution reholder I don't think it does, all you need to do is have a new sticker applied ($3 I think?). But really there is no reason to unless you are sending other coins in at the same time. The cert can still be looked up on the CAC website.

It might change since it is in a NGC holder and will be reslabbed in PCGS holder - I’m not as bothered by the cac sticker, the 1F VAM designation is more valuable and the priority. If cac will be-bean it then all the better - the coin is amazing and was a lucky find at a decent price and should be in hand soon.

Is the VAM designation worth the trouble?
I don't know the answer to that.

it isn't necessary to sell it. there are enough out there that people are familiar with them but at the same time, it doesn't hurt if you want to increase the buyer base.
you don't even have to go through a TPG, @messydesk would LOVE to handle the slabs and relieve the TPG of their backlog attributions. he does more than just vams.
Thanks mate but this is the resource I've been using: https://pcgs.com/vamvarieties
and VAM 1F is not listed. Is this out of date and coinfacts is the place for current data?
Not sure why it is not on that list, maybe a call to PCGS to confirm is in order.
The way I understand it is if you put coin # 518799 on your submission from it will be graded as such.

Yes, it does appear to be the 1F.

oh, I didn't realize you were going NGC to PCGS... I should have noticed that. Yes then they would need that information.

I don't see where PCGS recognizes that variety for the 21 Peace but maybe I'm not looking in the right place.
