Not expecting any DCAMs, so I will be pleasantly surprised if any of them receive the designation.
I do hope the 1950 half and the 1953 halves CAM.
I count three lock DCAMs based on your photos. The last three 53 halves and the 50 are going to be close, but I think you'll get a CAM. The first 1953 I'd be shocked if they didn't give it a CAM. There are some stunners in there, especially that 1960 quarter. I've never seen one deeper than that!
I have always wondered if the other coins in a submission can help, hurt or have no effect at all on the group grades.
As well as order in the submission ...
Looks to me as if you have a superb submission.... Tough to conclusively determine CAM/DCAM from pictures, but sure seems you will get the designations on most - if not all - of those coins. Be sure to let us know when the results are available. Cheers, RickO
I have a 5 coin regular submission they received on 12/13 /21 order processing and specification. Then it went to grading. About 3 weeks ago they corrected the denomination they put down wrong. Yesterday it moved to encapsulation. I hope you get something before June.

Everyone has had issues/complaints with processing times. I'm curios if this is due to coin rarity/difficulty or potential submitter paperwork issues?
I submitted two orders, World Regular (12 raw coins) and Modern (4 raw coins) received 2/3 and 2/2 respectively. I received the Modern order 2/25 for a three week turnaround beginning to end. The World coins, which have stated 50 business day turnaround, moved into QA yesterday...so a likely 6 week/30 business day turnaround once they get to me.
Am I just lucky? Easy coins? I'm obviously happy but that is a HUGE discrepancy.

Kevin has learned, as have most of us, that there is no such thing as a "lock DCAM" at PCGS.
True, but there were three coins that I thought were lock DCAMs from what I read in one of my previous posts, honestly I don't remember if they were the three that actually got the designation. Obviously, I was wrong on the 1953 half.
It seems PCGS has been all over the place recently with the CAM and DCAM designations, but that could be my limited viewpoint. If that's true, your statement has never been more true than now IMO.
What I believe is that the photograph technique being used to show us the coins is too flawed for a concise judgement, the images are too small and angled.
My views after receiving grades on the many 1950-1970 proof and SMS coins (over 220) I have submitted to PCGS in 2021 and in 2022 are that:
some I thought should receive a CAM designation did not;
some I thought should not receive a CAM designation did;
toned coins both received and did not receive a CAM designation;
some BN and RB copper coins that have mirrored fields and frosted devices warrant receiving a CAM designation but do not receive some from PCGS as a matter of policy (which one may or may not agree with) resulting in what I refer to as "unicorn" coins (with outstanding eye appeal);
the line between brilliant and Cameo coins is not precisely drawn (and likely never will be);
the line between Cameo and DCAM coins is not precisely drawn (and likely never will be);
my personal grades assigned to the submitted coins have been very close to the grades assigned by PCGS; and
overall my experience submitting coins for grading has been positive thus far.
More grist for the discussion mill will be available after Trueview photos of all of the submitted coins have been posted. Though the Trueviews are glamour shots, they will be of much better quality than the cell phone photos of the raw coins posted at the tip of this thread.
One good thing about this submission having grades post is that I am now in a position to have 100% of the coins in my Registry Set of 1950-1964 proof coins (mostly collected raw and submitted for grading) present and accounted for.
After I receive the coins from this submission back from PCGS I will have a better feel for things. However I am very pleased with the numerical grades given to all of the coins and with the designations given to the dimes and quarters.
I too look forward to seeing the Trueviews (and the coins in hand).

Nice looking group. A lot of frost there. Good luck with the results.
The 1960 Quarter has great contrast, with off the charts thick frost on the devices of both sides of the coin.
This submission, plus the in hand submissions I made last month at Long Beach will allow me to complete my 1950-1970 Proof and SMS Registry Sets.
I am looking forward to receiving the coins back from PCGS and am looking forward to seeing the True View photos of same.
Thanks for the kind words.
Those are great.

Wow! I like simple honest and good coins such as these...
Well, just Love coins, period.
I'd love to see them when you get them back

Wow, I see a lot of DCAM grades coming. Best of luck!

I just received notice from PCGS that my submission of these coins was received today from the postal service.
That was fairly quick.
Glad the submission made it to our host without any problems.
About to hit 3 months on my single crossover I sent in. Hope you get these done faster. They look very nice and I would be surprised if none DCAM.

Grades posted on the 28 coins submitted to our host in March, 2022.
The results are mixed and include some fantastic grades.
The dimes and quarters turned out great. The half dollars and nickels are head scratchers.

Trueview photos will eventually be posted to this thread.
Thanks for posting,
Its nice you got some Cams and Deep Cameos.
The Franklin Halves and Jefferson Nickels looked awesome in your Pics, and its odd that non of either cameoed.
It's all about what the people want...
Why are they head scratchers? Were you thinking Cam on those as well?
