boy those denticles sure are pretty

although, i concede, i was enjoying jefferson heads, chain cents and a different group of lovely large cents in rattler holders, a whole schmorgasboard of them and then this little stinker reared it's head:

.
and while trying to get the TV up for you lovely folks for the non-copper beast above, i transposed the last 2 digits and landed on this monster:

BUT since we've came this far, may as well post the chocolate candy that started the whole debacle:

thanks for taking a magic carpet ride with me.

Love the eye candy
does anyone know to what the title of this thread refers?
Musical instruments, perhaps?
I assumed he meant the denticles

this and the thread title changed. apologies sending people down the wrong path.
so the new inquiry. does anyone know why i pointed out the dentils? nothing serious, just wondering if anyone noticed what i first did upon looking at that dollar, besides how amazing it is (and the left side cac sticker which is scarce, no?)
I have always admired nice denticles.... Wherever I may find them...
Cheers, RickO

you and i have that in common. women with chicklet teeth are BOOtiful!
for the 1-2 people whom may actually wonder what i'm referring to with the denticles; with the first coin you see the gasket is transparent and you can see the denticles. NOT being able to see them has caused grief for many a folk on and off this forum.
the jefferson head has the reduced lip gasket insert to give even better of a view of the edge/dentiles. to some it matters but not to take away from the astonishing pocket change in those holders.
