BST or ?? Selling Advice - Scans Added

Hi! I spend most of my forum time over in the coin forums and only pop in here every once in a while to see what is going on as I still collect baseball cards...can't resist buying packs here and there and opening them every year. Anyway I was looking through my miscellaneous cards from when I was a kid and have a few non-sports cards that I was wondering if anyone could give me insight into the best place to price and sell them. They are not mint (heck I was a kid!) but some of them are pretty decent, I checked around online (eBay etc.) and there prices are all over the place for these type items.

Note: IMHO Most of these are not BST worthy due to non-mint condition or not being graded. I could post them but don't want to embarrass myself and bring down the quality of the postings!

Some of the things I have are:

17 Fleer 1972 Harlem Globetrotters Cards including the Meadowlark Lemon card.
10 Topps 'Man on the Moon' cards including a Neil Armstrong
8 Topps Ton O Laffs / Ton O TV cards
3 Topps 'Target Moon' cards
4 Topps 'Who Am I?' cards including a Babe Ruth
8 Fleer AHRA Dragster cards
10 Topps Planet of the Apes cards

I had pretty diverse interests when I was younger, nowadays the diagnosis would have been ADD :) Anyway I am going to have 2 kids in college next year and we are talking about downsizing so things have got to go! Any insight you could give would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, I appreciate it!

    Condition will matter.

Post some scans and get some better feedback.

Curious about the rare, mysterious and beautiful 1951 Wheaties Premium Photos?

The BST is not just for the best of the best. As long as your pricing is somewhat in line with the condition of the card you'll be just fine.

Funny I did not think of scanning...a lot easier than photos for sure! Here are the scans...a couple have an extra mixed in as I could get 9 on a single scan.

    1) Ton's O Laffs

    2) Man on the Moon

    3) Who Am I?

    4) Planet of the Apes

    5) AHRA

    6) Harlem Globetrotters

I would guess most would probably grade 4-6. Not sure of the value of these cards ungraded, unless they are really rare, grading cost would be more than their value. Rounded corners and off centering hurt their value the most. These 2 traits are what appeal to card collectors the most.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it! I guess I'll take some additional scans and put them out on eBay to see what they can get!

    Good Day,

Sorry to be the bearer of Bad news but other than the Babe Ruth card, in the condition of most of those cards, they would most likely be in the .50 cent or $1 each range at most.

    YeeHaw!

    Neil.

Not bad news at all! It is what I expected...as mentioned these were in my card collection as a kid and we did not take great care of them...you should see my sports cards! A lot of trades and games were played with them. And then we had the phase of drawing on them which really ruined a bunch. Oh well...the enjoyment was priceless!
