Guess the grade Morgan (a different date for color) (grade posted)
This is not your typical date for color among Morgans. So what do you think it graded?

I would guess MS64. Very pretty coin and amazing for an 1890-S! I have seen one other one with nice color but I think this one is better. I do think there’s a chance it’s QC though as it is a very uncommon look for the date.

I'm gonna throw a curve ball and say genuine for some reason

MS65

Should be a 63, but gets a bonus for color, and a grade bump. So I’ll go 64.
64 if it didn't Details grade.
I'll go with 65
Color should boost it to a 65.

63+... wonderful color but the cheek and temple between the eye and hairline have hits that likely prevent a higher grade

Put me down for MS65
MS63.... Tarnish is environmental damage, no matter how 'pretty' it may seem. That one does look questionable color though....Cheers, RickO

64, worse case 63+
Coin Photographer.
I'd say 64, maybe +
I would also say bumped to a 65 on color.
Looks like a 63 to me, gets a + for color.

what a cool example, great ea.
64, and the color passes muster.

I see a couple of hits on Ms. Liberty's jaw and cheek, a little chatter in the obverse fields... but that reverse is pretty clean and a nice strike. If the color is OK, I'd say MS64. Very nice...

63+ for color, which is extremely nice. And you are right. I've not seen many colorful 1890 S Morgans

In hand, is the cleaning easily detected and what method of cleaning was used?
I don’t see any clear sign of it.
