Guess the grade Morgan (a different date for color) (grade posted)

This is not your typical date for color among Morgans. So what do you think it graded?

    I would guess MS64. Very pretty coin and amazing for an 1890-S! I have seen one other one with nice color but I think this one is better. I do think there’s a chance it’s QC though as it is a very uncommon look for the date.

    Should be a 63, but gets a bonus for color, and a grade bump. So I’ll go 64.

    63+... wonderful color but the cheek and temple between the eye and hairline have hits that likely prevent a higher grade

    MS63.... Tarnish is environmental damage, no matter how 'pretty' it may seem. That one does look questionable color though....Cheers, RickO

    1. There are marks on the face, neck and obverse field but none are overly distracting.

    I would also say bumped to a 65 on color.

    Looks like a 63 to me, gets a + for color.

    I see a couple of hits on Ms. Liberty's jaw and cheek, a little chatter in the obverse fields... but that reverse is pretty clean and a nice strike. If the color is OK, I'd say MS64. Very nice...
