New to collecting. Is this an error or damage? 1937-D Walking Liberty

Hello, I'm very new to collecting and acquired this coin. The divots are half hemispheres with a depth of 1.55mm and push the silver out on the other side. Can you tell me if this is a mint error or if its damage that occurred after the fact? If it is a mint error, what type is it? Thank you so much for your help (sorry the photos are so bad).

Damage that is attested to by the pushed in on the front and pushed out on the back
Thank you! I appreciate your help.
Appears to be shot with a BB Gun.
@6644Invader ... Welcome aboard. Yes, that is Post Mint Damage... commonly referred to as PMD. Good pictures. Cheers, RickO
