there are a few in this date range that did go PL at pcgs. fwiw
I don’t think the obverse would. It is very flashy and appears to be EDS.

That is a very nice coin.... Are the scratches showing on the obverse on the slab or the coin? Almost a PL coin. Cheers, RickO
@ricko the scratch is on the brand new NGC holder. Which segues into the following interesting fact about this specific coin. It's traveled a bit. To PCGS where it graded MS 63. Then to CAC, where it got a green bean. Then to NGC where it graded MS 63. Then to CAC, where it got another green bean. Then to me. Not sure, but I suspect the previous owners were trying for a PL designation. Obviously it didn't come to fruition. A lot of churning occured. Fast forward to today, I'm happy to own the coin as is. Thanks!
Looks PL to me and nice! Is it me or do the new ngc slabs scratch up easily?
