State Park Quarter Question

So it has been a very long time since I have posted here. With that said the coin collecting has not stopped. We still look for a lot of coins and even look at them it antique stores. We have also still been trying to get all the state park quarters. We have just been searching our change when we got it back. The other day we found one of the last 3 we needed which made me wonder something.
How hard has it been to find these two quarters in circulation?
Arizona 2010
Vermont 2020

I had to ask. It just seems strange is have never seen any of those two in all the change i have gotten back.

Not hard, but it is random as to which you will get in change.

There are plenty of them out there. If you want to speed up the process you can pick up a couple boxes of quarters from the bank. But once you have those final two is the fun of the change hunt going to end? If I was near any large areas with big banks I would be looking for the W quarters!

Searching change is really slow when looking for special coins. I have been searching for a W quarter in change since they were issued - three years now.... Still have not found one. So, unless you get rolls - lots of them - your search will continue. That being said, it will eventually be rewarded... no telling when. Good luck, Cheers, RickO

The 2020 may have been caught up in the pandemic coinage disruptions.

It is a statistics game, even if you have paid for everything in cash since 2010 that might add up to what say a grand in quarters in change each year at most. So twenty thousand quarters give or take received over twenty two years, compared to how many million produced each year. I'm sure that you will find both someday just hard to say when.

I have been getting a couple rolls of the ATB quarters since they started. I really started collecting them in 2019 with the W mint. The 2010 Grand Canyon was at or above the mintages of the other releases in the first 3 years. In late 2012 mintages started going up dramatically and would 'water down' the number of earlier releases. The 2020 Marsh Billings is one of the highest mintage of any of them, but because of the 'coin shortage' I have found only one single used and abused D mint example. I'm hoping there are still boxes out there somewhere to get a couple rolls and find a 'W' and for you to find.
If you want an easy find Grand Canyon I can send you one.

I haven't seen any 2010 quarter in a couple years and haven't seen an AZ since around 2016.

    They're out there.

PS If you found New Mexico with a 44 million mintage, Arizona at 70 million and Vermont at 670 million should be turning up soon.
