Who is buying all the 2021 bullion platinum eagles?

I have always liked the APE even though they seem to have been dead in the water for some time. I was surprised at a recent USM announcement that they increased the mintage of the 2021 was increased by 40,000 pieces to 75,000 total making it the second highest mintage surpassed only by the MS 1997 issue. IMHO there must be some jumbo boxes being rat hled by a few investors. I have a few that I am buried in and have purchased a few more at the seemingly attractive prices to cost average and have succeeded in getting my nose barely above water. I doubt I will sell into the present weak market and add a few when I can obtain them in 70 for close to bullion. Anyone with some skinny on these-boat anchors for the time being-your replies and opinions will be appreciated. Thx in advance!

Platinum is extremely cheap right now especially when you compare it to gold.

Platinum bullion sales have been increasing over the last few years.
    2017 - 20,000 oz.
    2018 - 30,000 oz.
    2019 - 40,000 oz.
    2020 - 56,500 oz.
    2021 - 75,000 oz.

I have not purchased the platinum coins, or the palladium issues. I stick with gold and silver. I will say though, they do have some attractive designs.... They were tempting from that perspective... but - - - gold!!! ;) Cheers, RickO
