1832 Capped Bust Half dollar - Guess the Grade

DisneyFanDisneyFan Posts: 2,156 ✭✭✭✭✭

I've had this coin from long ago and it's fun to actually hold it in my hands. It's nice and heavy. I really don't want to put it in a slab; yet, I wonder about the weak pluribus and 50 cents on the reverse. Does this affect the grade? The photo isn't the greatest - the coin is darker in hand,

Nice work. Is there a CACG image associated with the coin?

That's it. No TRUEVIEW. And of course, the image of the reverse is upside down.

@DisneyFan XF40 is EXACTLY where I would have put it, so for once, CACG and I actually agree! That's a beautiful Bust Half! I pulled the info and photos for you, and lightened the photos slightly since you indicated that the photos made your coin appear dark. Congratulations on getting the grade it well deserves, and it will be preserved for future generations to enjoy!
