CAC Shipping Address Changed?

seduloussedulous Posts: 3,250 ✭✭✭✭✭

Has anyone else received an email yesterday from CAC revising their "shipping policy"? to their "Physical Address"? Is this legit?: want to be extra cautious.

@TurtleCat ... believe it is real? I would be more comfortable having this information confirmed in the caccoin.com Portal.

Then why not contact CAC directly?

The posted email address is legitimate.

I received the same email from CAC. The address matches the public record for the Certified Acceptance Corporation. While this seems legit, I would call them before sending coins. It seems like we have regular posts here with shipments that go wrong...

That is the correct address, I ship my coins to them using FedEx and that is the address I use. Never had a problem so far.
Edited to add: I also received that email.

That’s true, as long as you obtain accurate information, which occurred in this instance. But that’s not always the case. And the OP, himself, is the one who wrote “@TurtleCat ... believe it is real? I would be more comfortable having this information confirmed in the caccoin.com Portal.”

Better to make a call and talk to a person. Emails can be compromised and even websites can be compromised

I got the E-Mail also. They used a PO Box previously. I'm sure if it was a scam CAC would know and say as much.

The PO Box is still the address to be used for First Class mail. They were pointing out their physical address for people to use when sending coins by Registered or Express mail (and presumably for those using Overnight services such as FedEx and UPS).

Thank you. Timeframe of a weekend was the main problem and it couldn't wait until Monday. Yes, it is obvious to call or make inquiries but not over a weekend... not if you needed immediate feedback.

Thank you everyone for your responses.
