Of course it is. Especially if you go with higher grade of coins. Im currently working on a Roosevelt dime Dansco album. The album says 46 to 2013 ( I don't have the most current page yet ) including proofs, but it doesn't include the 1950 to 1964 proofs for some reason. I am filling the album with all Mint state coins that are white or mostly white and grade MS 63 or higher. You could make a nice Mercury dime album or folder with nice XF/AU coins and it would look great in my opinion.

I had the same problem with the Jefferson Nickel Albums, no early proofs. I found Capital Plastics made holders for 1950 thru 1964 Proof Jefferson Nickels, so I added some of them and have filled 2 of 3 I have of them to accompany my Jefferson Nickel Albums. I agree that working on albums is a great way to enjoy the hobby. I have filled so many in 60 years and still have many. They also make blank nickel holders that should hold all the early proof Jeffs, but with no lettering. CP may make the same for early proof Roosies, not sure.

Just do the pre-1934 issues. They are much more difficult to find in nice condition. The 1934-1945 dates are common and little more than bullion when in circulated condition.
Filling an album is super satisfying, and mercs are beautiful coins. Do it!

If you have to ask, probably not.
It can be a fun and interesting project. Makes an impressive display when complete. Cheers, RickO
