Libertad Crazy! #3 Libertad.

What the heck?
Mistakenly deleted my OP.
Let's try again.
I picked up my first raw business strike 1 ounce 2011 Libertad earlier in the week. Went back, unfortunately, all 10 were GONE! Only after 2 days too.
So, she did have this beautiful 2018 1/2 ouncer in her display case. Couldn't pass this one up. It's a 2018 1/2oz. NGC PF. 69 Ultra Cameo. The price was enticing as well, $70. Here it is, whatcha guys think?


I hear they stopped minting these in 2021. So I figured, I'd strike while the iron is still HOT! Lol.

Hey Joey. I love anything Libertad and the proof's are particularly stunning. Very nice pick-up.

At the risk of hijacking your thread in a US Coin forum, I recently visited Mexico and made some purchases of my own. The Mexico Mint (Casa de Moneda) sells 1 oz silver BU Libertad's to the public through the Banco Azteco. I happened to be in Puerto Vallarta when the dollar to peso exchange rate was very favorable so I spent much of my vacation sitting in the Bank lobby checking on inventory. In total, I was able to purchase 49 during the two week visit. Most were brand new 2021's in capsules but they had a few loose coins they were reluctant to part with:

Never warmed up to the "new" style Libertad. But it's hard to argue with Mexico's proof coinage for those who like deep cameo silver.

Only 2 graded higher. This and 2 other toned ones I use to own were the only ones graded MS68 years back,
now there are 9. I’m glad I kept at least one example.

I love the Libertad in ALL years and all finishes. You made a good buy on that half ouncer, Joey.
I was buying the paper rolls in the 2000s from Southland Coin.
This remains my favorite version:

Nice 1984 @blu62vette I have a few different years in right now but as I recall it was quite difficult
