@robec has been very kind to take photos of my coins. I sent him two of my coins recently purchased during the FUN show. The challenge is that they are darkly toned coins, but they come alive with just a little light.

I am very particular about how my coins appear and I want the pics to be as close to the in-hand look as possible. Of course a photo can't capture all of the character of a coin no matter how much skill is involved, but Bob does a fantastic job. Here's a toast to him and his excellent skills!

Awesome photography and awesome double dime. Was it Robec that had the photography challenge like 10 years ago where a crazy toned proof lincoln made it's way all over the country for people to try and photograph? I took a shot at it with terrible results.

Haha, it took 9 months to complete after going through 26 states. It started sometime in 2009.
