PCGS 2022 Submission Form for U.S. Coins Now Available

I took just a quick look at the submission form for 2022 for U.S. Coins, and it appears the coin value maximums for Economy, Regular, and Express, along with the pricing, has all remained unchanged! The cost to Reholder also stayed the same!

That is good news... With all the inflation affecting virtually everything else lately, nice to see this. Cheers, RickO
That’s surprising but generally welcome news. They are essentially taking a price decrease given inflation and staffing costs. An increase would have been justifiable especially with the persistent long turnaround times.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
While I understand about rising costs, I believe with the long delays in service, from a public relations point of view, PCGS did the right thing by maintaining the same pricing levels. I believe if PCGS can somehow, over time, get the Express level back to five business days, and Regular back to fifteen business days (as it had been for MANY years), at that point people would be more comfortable paying slightly higher grading fees.

Everything I've sent in for grading in the last 2+ yrs has been Modern or Modern Value (mostly my gold and silver eagles, and some older 80s and 90s coins like Olympics, other commems, etc). Given what the potential values of these has been lately (limited mintage from the US Mint, etc), I've wished they'd adjust their value max's to something like:
(And other service levels with similar changes.)
That is arbitrary, I realize. I had to submit a few coins as Express since they blasted the > 2500 Modern limit, and had to move a couple 1/10th oz eagles to Modern since they were potentially > 300.
This may all just be wistful noob thinking?
Considering my Express submission just had grades posted after 24 business days, I'd say I would be less than enthused about a price hike.
