Since we've had a lot of posts on the Toned Lincolns thread, I thought I'd start a Toned Indian Cents thread as well.
I'll start with a couple in our Registry Set now:
1864-L on Ribbon, RPD, Snow-5, FS-2304, MS63+RB PCGS
1870 MS65BN PCGS, Unattributed Snow-11, Shallow N
1862 Copper-Nickel MS64 PCGS
Your turn! Whatcha got?
Kind regards,
George

While I do not own any toned Lincolns at this time, your posted ones are gorgeous.

George,
This is a nice thread, but in my experience a large percentage of TrueView images for copper coins (especially proofs) do not represent their actual appearance in hand. For example the following 2 examples are graded PR64RB:
Although my images are not so professional, they do get the color nearly correct:
On the other hand, this MS65BN is very accurate:

Absolutely true that the reds are often too juicy but collectors can benefit by comparing them side by side and they are certainly better focused than most nonprofessional photographs. They are a tool but should not be exclusively relied on.

George
