Common by pre Civil War gold standards, but I liked the color and I
haven’t seen one where the 0 touches the denticles. Looked good for a 50.

Great looking quarter eagle, no bad hits, rich toning. Love it!
You are right - nice color, nice coin. I also like it.

A very attractive coin ... but it does not meet my standards for an AU50. I would call the obverse XF45 and the reverse XF40.
The market, of course, does not care about my standards so if the price was right you should be OK.
The zero does look comically large and a little out of place, in a cool/interesting way. Nice pickup.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
This is a beautiful coin-- gracefully shows its age! A very nice find.....
nice pre-civil war gold you got there!
man those dies must've really been pitted. even the top pop on CF shows just terrible surfaces.

Sweet. Nice looking gold.
Nice color, perhaps kept in a leather coin purse?
Definitely some crust on that one..... However, it is gold, and I like gold coins... Crust or dust or just plain dirt.... Cheers, RickO
My Charlotte looks similar.
