What kind of lame NGC grade is 'choice BU'?
one that has been used on, idk, at least hundreds of thousands of coins over the years. perhaps millions.
there may be graded ones.
for the record, i have no skin in the game whether they make these or not, with or w/o generic BU grading. people are going to do what they are going to do.
i am in the middle of some crypto/nft stuff and couldn't go further.
fun to watch a crypto i landed on go from 550 to 750 in a matter of minutes. can you say: hello spike! - anyone with 50k on that one for a few minutes would have made $15k+.
anyone have $100k they can't figure out what to do with? PM me.

I remember select, choice and gem BU.
Recently a 2008-W $10 Tenth-Ounce Platinum American Eagle First Strike PCGS SP-70 with a PCGS guide value of $525 went for $1250 at auction..
Is this an extreme case of buying the holder, not the coin because of an "First Strike" designation? A result of a Specialized Registry Set?
