Loudest NFL stadium?

Which NFL stadium do you think wreaks the most havoc on opposing quarterbacks and teams? I bring this up because Joe Burrow said that the SEC is louder than any NFL stadium.

OH, C'MON!...DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO ASK?!?!

As loud as ARROWHEAD is, I don't think I've ever been anywhere louder than the 2014 A.L. Wildcard Game at Kauffman Stadium. It was a constant roar of "Let's Go Royals!" from the pregame until about the 5th inning, and things looked dire for awhile and everyone got to rest and catch their breath, and then from the 8th inning on, it kept building and building, until you thought it couldn't get any louder, and then Salvy comes to the plate "...and it's a ground ball to third, and it's FAIR! Up the left field line! Here's Colon! And the ROYALS WIN IT!" and the volume hit another gear, and absolute bedlam!

Former Chiefs kicker Lawrence Tynes commented on Joe Burrow's statement.

I thought the Seattle Seahawks stadium was well known for being extremely loud.

Of course, the loudest stadium in the NFL is the Rams SoFi stadium, but only when 49ers fans are there.

SoFi. The noise level there actually very annoying. A problem for the fans, and players on both teams alike. Stadium management has taken gradual steps during the season to deal with the problem. It's not just fan noise. The PA system, and constant music etc. enter into it. The fans tend to enter take their seats right around kickoff because the noise during pre game warm-up is overbearing. The noise level at the stadium is a CONSTANT topic of complaint before, during, and after the games. Even sitting at field level, when the play action is very close......I have never been able to hear the quarterbacks call signals. I wear earplugs now at the games. Don't like to but it's better than having a three day ringing headache after every game.

P.S. If there's an upside to the situation it's this: The Rams fans are more into the game than I have ever seen before. Very excited, loud, etc. Cooper Kupp is the fan favorite and the fans have a special cheer just for him.....COOOOOPERRRR! Maybe the noise is a good thing......the crowd in definatly into the game.....

I was there. The place was rockin' alright! I'd say it was an even mix of fans from both teams "raising the roof." Rams fans have been known to let out a cheer or two at times. Maybe hard to believe, but it's true. Leaving the stadium, the folks in the blue jerseys and the folks in the red ones both agreed that it was the most exciting game for both teams all season. Happy, happy all around. The main concern was that the Niners could get past the Packers and the Rams past the Bucs for a dream rematch. The Niner win over the Rams made it a possibility........something to look forward to! Its going to happen on Sunday. Lots of excited Ram and Niner fans. What could be better? Why dwell on the past? What's done is done. I don't believe everything I hear........even if I want to.

No longer here unfortunately, but this place could rock with the best of them.

I'll stick with SoFi for right now.......The second game of the season(?) was the Bucs game.. I wanted to see Tommy B. So bad.....But I didn't go to the game. Stayed home and babysat the little Hydrants and watched on T.V......Why?......because the fan noise level at the pre season Charger and Raider games and the first regular season game against the Bears was UNREAL! I couldn't take it.....Hey, I know it's L.A. and L.A. fans don't measure up to the fans anywhere else.....how could they?.....it's L.A.......BUT....YOU HAVE TO BE THERE TO BELIEVE IT! The L.A. fans have gone nuts......they love the Rams.......don't knock it.....go with it......it's A GOOD thing! SoFi is a madhouse full of HAPPY and LOUD...Ram fans.....it's WONDERFUL!!!!!

From what the announcers say, Seattle is like playing in a narrow canyon, so that must be it.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Bill, I've been in many a narrow canyon in my life, Utah, Arizona, etc., and actually, they are the most quiet places you can imagine. And I've been to many, many Seahawks games in Seattle..... I don't get the comparison of the two....whatever, my friend. I always enjoy your posts....here and on the coin forum. You are a mainstay! You have my respect.......Thanks!
