I hunted my first, and probably last box of dimes... boy was it rough.

I came across this 1997-P dime and wanted some second opinions on the MD or DD

It looks like a worn die or die erosion that can cause the appearance of doubling.

@LordBrian.... Welcome aboard. Yes, the links work... The pictures are small and difficult to interpret. You will be able to post regular pictures in a couple of days (forum protocol for new members). Could not conclusively determine, but looks like die erosion or maybe machine doubling.... However, would not conclude that without better pictures. Cheers, RickO
