    These are done by hand by individual artists. This one doesn't look to be signed, but you may be able to identify the artist by comparing the style to other known examples.

    Generally the most common design with the beard and the hat.

    BTW, what is with those "hobo coins" on eBay that are modern and have very suggestive images?

    Those are not real coins, so I always report them as counterfeits. There seem to be a lot of them coming out of China, alongside the more traditional counterfeits.
