XF by wear but I don't like the many small marks behind Lincoln.

Its for sure a RAW circulated Lincoln, but that's what 95% of my Lincoln's are, so, they've seen a LOT of cash drawers, and lots of kids have bought lots of bubble gum with them for sure :) If you would have seen the dozens of corroded, green, pitted, metal detecting finds that were once in the collection in the early days makes this one is pure EYE CANDY :D
Thanks a bunch for dropping in and contributing :)

Borderline AU for details, but the lack of any luster and the marks on the obv limit the grade to XF40 imo.

The 1919-S is a common date. You can be picky when buying one.

Another nice circulated Lincoln. as stated: Marks behind the shoulder area keeps it to XF40.

1919-S is a common date (in circulated grades) but this is around the time the San Francisco mint strike quality really started to fall off a cliff. This one is a pretty decent strike though.

    I'd say XF-45

    Very good point!
But when I started the main what I'll call upgrade process, there was dozens to upgrade, and at anywhere from $5.00 to
$35.00 for each (Not high grade) that's good size stack of money for me.
plus in the past little over a year I added a BUNCH of proofs, several uncirculated, an AU58 55DDO and a EF SVDB. Its not possible for me to have the complete Lincoln cent date range (113 years if coins), from all the mints in high grade and mint luster, but I can dream :)
This is a pretty nice addition (upgrade) to my RAW Lincoln Cent album collection.
Thanks for dropping in, and contributing ;)

I tried a little different picture arrangement, and I dropped the size of the image just a bit, those giant 20X larger than life really brings out the circulation nicks and dings, I mean they also get bigger than life. I also did some dusting off too.
Lets see what they'll look like displayed on the forum. I also fabricated a bit of a rest for the camera seeing how I wasn't using a flash.

I noticed the style of the MM font was changed sometime between 09 and 1919, its close, but different.
EDITED! I think I may have figured out a little better way to get better images from my little digital microscope too!

I like XF45, though the scratches may hold it back to XF40. Nice original coin.
