US Quarter Prices in 2022 - Back to 5 Coins

A December coin world article described 2022 price increases in the precious metal price grids.
What do you expect the price increase to be for the (now 5 quarter) already over-priced Proof, Silver Proof and LESP sets? How would anticipated price increases effect sales?

Silver proof and LESP about the same, although the colorized Purple Heart is $95. Perhaps 10% increase for the PF and LESP. The silver quarter 5- coin set ? Prepare to be shocked 😳 Don’t expect them to be $60 like 2020 🤨

Don’t they announce these price increases in the federal register?

You are right, they have to publish it in advance. I din't recall noticing an announcenent and I can't imagine they would miss the opportunity (especially given the inflation rate).

I didn't consider only one ASE in LESP set this year.

I’ll bet they don’t change the price but your right! Good catch. 👍🏼

At $105, like last year, is still over-priced. But what can one expect when they see what some people are paying for the resale on EBAY? Simply closing the gap between what they charge and what "people" are willing to pay in the secondary. I blame the buyer conned by the "rare" hype.

I don’t see the prices for the silver proof set, yet, but with 5 quarters I don’t think they will leave it at $105 like last year with only 2 quarters ( which is still currently available).
I think $90-100 for the 5 quarters may not be out of the question. Even at $75-80 simple math sez proof set is gunna go up. Unless your info is solid then we’ll see👍🏼

I liked the 2021 set but I don’t think I’ll buy it in 2022. I will be probably be tempted to buy an ASE maybe and I think the Peace proof but other than that I’m probably gonna try and sit most of these out this year....

I am enrolled for the W ASE, but that is likely the only Mint product I will get this year. That could change, but not based on what is known so far. Cheers, RickO

They have priced the 5-coin silver quarter set at $73 and the clad at $21.

    Thanks.
I am glad the ATBs are done, I'll NEVER commit to such a series again. I am confident that the US Mint won't resurrect the 5oz coins for these.
