    Next to CAC, the most frequently posted "word" on this forum is pareidolia.

    Ghosting is fairly common on California Fractional Gold Coins. Since gold is very soft and the planchets were paper thin, it's common to see a ghost image of the opposite side of the coin even though the dies are un-clashed.

    To be honest I think what you see are wrinkles on the stretched out planchet.
    I too thought I’ve seen ghost lettering and numbers on some of my coins but I decided I was looking way too hard at them.

    Just left of the 6 you have drawn I do see what looks to be a skeleton riding a moped. That I find amazing. Holly crap! I’m I turning into @emeraldATV 🤪
