Not bad for just 182 boxes - NICE SCORE!

Been looking for it since '04 and I've never found one. And I've searched a LOT of quarter boxes.

Thanks everyone, I was very excited to Score this coin while CRH. I have found a few amazing finds since I have been CRH. I spent 8 years searching Half dollars and pulled over 8,000 pieces of silver out of circulation. So I decided to take a break and start with quarters to locate W's Which I have pulled 187 W's from Circulation. I think I will send this one in for grading. Anyone interested in seeing a sweet 1968 Clamshell lamanation error? I pulled while CRH Half Dollars.

I hope that wasn't the only thing you found. But nice score. How many of those W's have you found? 187/364,000 is roughly 1/1950 or 1/49 rolls. Do they come in clumps or 1 out of every 20 to 100 rolls?

I’ve never found anything worthy of attention from my quarter boxes

It is a cool find but I would not recommend having this graded and slabbed for any financial reasons, the cost would be more than the benefit for a circulated coin like this. But if you just want to for your own personal reasons then sure go for it.

The most I have pulled from 1 box is 5 and that has happend twice, several I Have gotten 2-3 W's, most of the time its 1 -2 per box. I keep a log, 75 boxes no W's, and 114 boxes contained W's.

Now I see why I cannot find any W quarters in change... :D;) Between you and two or three other forum members, you guys are finding them all before they get out to cash registers. :D I will keep on searching change though, one is bound to show up. Cheers, RickO
