Before the boom in zincoln threads, this post would have blown up with a variety of major bust errors..
Now that everyone's microscopes are zoomed in on what may or may not be super valuable doubling, no one gives a darn about some crusty old half dollar.
🤔
Or in other words, I don't have any cool cbh errors (yet)..😅

obviously two 1809 halves were sitting on top of each other. They got run over in a bank parking lot by some one leaving with 20 boxes of memorial cents.

Likely it once belonged to Henry Hilgard….very notable and well respected collector of CBH error coins.
Incredible coin!

True, Dave. Around 10 years ago I shot another couple dozen of Hilgard's amazing errors. I have suspicions about who owns them now.
Lance.
Is that an O-112? 👀

Some of the coins that were made off center almost look like baseballs with the edge looking like stitching! Awesome coins!
Mis aligned dies. Obverse appears to be an off center but reverse normal.
