Off to Bossier City sometime this week to cash a few futures tickets including the Super Bowl winner. Was a very good NFL season for me this year. Hope everyone else had as much good fortune. Swami will be back in September.

I’m not hedging my Rams bet. I’m letting it ride. $1400 or nothing. No points needed, just an out right win.
Congrats! And, the bengals ATS would have worked out perfectly if you were to have hedged. I did make a $100 prop bet on Stafford over 279.5, and had a 3 team parlay with 2 ncaab teams plus the Rams ML which will pay $271. But not the result i had hoped for.
I caught a square so I'm happy, only thing I wanted other than a late Cincy td and duece (for a grand) was for a UGA alum to snag SBMVP for top spot but Kupp deserved it. Glad the Rams hit it, Staffy deserved it!
Gonna throw a rib battle down with Mark here at some point for some foozballs bbq action....ha!

That hedge would have been sweet! Right after that botched extra point I knew that would haunt Rams bettors.

my combination of NFL & golf wagers currently has me sitting at 911.27, and yes that includes almost 300 i lost on aaron rodgers' azz.
even though football is over, i decided to keep this thing rolling by continuing to post my bets. by doing so, it'll force me to hold myself accountable and not make rash decisions. and who knows, it might be fun for some to watch me sink or swim from afar. so up they will go, prior to the outcome. every single one of them. last weekend, life (and the Super Bowl) got in the way and i forgot to post my 3 (winning) wagers until afterward. that won't happen again. i'm not one of these lame-ass gamblers who only talks about (and shows) the winners. trust me, i can still type just fine with egg on my face. i'm not stopping until i go bust or cash out............there's no in-between.
so, with the NFL in the rearview mirror it's time to focus strictly on golf. this week is the Genesis Open in Cali. i perused the lines this morning and ultimately decided on -- what i perceived to be -- a couple of fun little H2H matchups. Jon Rahm is currently ranked #1 in the world. Justin Thomas and Patrick Cantlay aren't far behind. i plopped a few bucks on each of them to finish higher in the tourney than Rahmbo. if they split i'll profit marginally.

Yeah 5 is a stinker but with 2pt conversions it's in play...or straight 5 tds or fgs. Will see.
I've got boxes in our 5/10/20 boards too but they won't draw those numbers until game day. Will have 25 sets to keep up with on those.

I believe Rahm has been the morning line fav. the last 3 events. I believe he is again this week.
