Best PL 55-S Cent I've come across

I went through a group of about 50 tubed, OBW, and Meghrig rolls over the weekend, and found several Semi-PL coins. These pop up occasionally, and have a much stronger contrast and reflective fields compared with a normal Cent. They really stand out! In 50 rolls I found perhaps 10 coins total, but one in particular stood out more than the rest. Its fields are very reflective, and the reverse even shows a small amount of cameo contrast. I shot it with my normal lighting, which shows the surface details well, though it does not emphasize reflectivity, and it still looks really good. Take a look:

I'll probably need to put this one into my "reflectivity jig" that I made for getting an objective measure of prooflike Cents.

    It's a real nice coin for a 55-S.

The SF Mint seemed to get a little sloppy near the end. I guess I can't blame them.

Looks to have been a set of older dies that had been recently polished before the strike.

And a nice little die crack on the reverse..... Keep that one in an album. Cheers, RickO

Interesting also is that it has a big BIE die crack, but nothing chipped-out yet. Hard to see with this lighting. I'll take a closeup of that area.
