1982-D Small date - maybe copper?

First off, I'm not expecting this to be copper. I know there are only two that have ever been found out of billions. I don't have a coin scale, but I'm hoping to get one soon. The only reason I bothered to ask the forum about this one is that I did the sound test and it sounded almost identical to the copper penny. However, I know the sound isn't exactly reliable. Figured some more experienced people could tell me if it's copper or zinc if there are visible markers. Thanks.

Looks to be some split plate issues around the mint mark, from this photo I would say zinc.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Get a weight. Nobody's opinion matters.
I agree that we need the weight.... although unlikely, always worth checking. Take it to a jeweler and ask them to weigh it, they have proper devices. Cheers, RickO
One of my teachers has a scale. Confirmed, it's zinc.
