Has anyone seen a nicely toned 1950 Franklin? Please post yours

Some of the early Franklin dates don't come with the monster colors of the 1956 to 1958 dates or much color at all. Has anyone seen a relatively strong 1950 toned Franklin? This is my example:

    That's really strong color for the date.

    I hit "Post Comment" too early. :(

    I used to have a relatively large number of really nicely toned Franklins, but over the years they were sold off and now I only have a single piece, which is a proof. However, I never owned a 1950-P, D or S Franklin that had much color other than an array of blue and gold along the rim.

    Wow, beautiful coin. Skyman probably has something to add to this discussion.

    Lovely 1950 Franklin @U1chicago ! IMO the major reason you don't find many nicely toned 1950 Franklins (or indeed other silver denominations) is that there were no Mint Sets made in that year.

    @TomB I'd like to hear more about this 1950 S Franklin that you were looking for. ;)

    @kaz Here's my 1950 (PCGS MS65FBL). It's got envelope toning. It was part of a deal where I was able to pick up 6 P mint Franklins with envelope toning; '50, '53, '59, '61, '62, '63.

    The 1950 D (PCGS MS65FBL) was a total wing and a prayer pickup on eBay 10 - 15 years ago on a crappy set of seller's pictures. It was probably my luckiest eBay Franklin pickup, as there are so few nicely toned 1950 D Franklins out there.

    No, now that I think about it.................it must have been someone else :#

    This whole time he was trying to trick us with blast white coins so that he could build up the toner set. :D
