These were made by the Intaglio Mint and they show up on eBay on a regular basis.

that's not an intaglio mint product
what does the reverse look like and is there any edge lettering?
.
Yes, if you can post a picture of the edge and the reverse, that would be good. And also check and see if it rings like silver if you bounce it off a countertop.
.
Edited to add: be careful with the ringing like silver test. Don't want to damage the coin!
100th pint of blood donated 7/19/2022 . Transactions with WilliamF, Relaxn, LukeMarshal, jclovescoins, braddick, JWP, Weather11am, Fairlaneman, Dscoins, lordmarcovan, Collectorcoins, SurfinxHI, JimW. Since it says 2 1/2 dollars on the front, and one dollar on the back... I think it isn't the product of any mint...

That's an Alibaba-style counterfeit made with different designs to get around counterfeit laws. Bad, bad, bad every day and all week. Worth ZERO.
Maybe you could feed a vegas slot machine with it? (Do some of those still take large dollars?)
Edited to add: That would likely be illegal anyway. Don't try to defraud the casinos, they don't like that...

Con't tel
l if it sounds like silver
A bad sign is that it’s not marked for metal/weight/purity
It maybe is a simple novelty token.
In the lottery chance it has silver content, you might try finding a coin store that has a metal analyzer like a sigma analytics
It looks to be very poorly made. I'd be surprised if it is silver. Even if it is silver it will be heavily discounted because it is not marked.

@wadeatchison.... Welcome aboard.... Looks like a novelty coin.. unlikely to be silver. Cheers, RickO
