First W Quarter find in 2022

I went through 20 rolls of quarters today I found three West Point quarters. In the 20th roll that I went through I found 44 quarters. Not a bad day for roll hunting. Now back to the bank to get some more rolls of quarters. :)B):)

    @joeykoins I agree, the W quarters are still out there but extremely hard to find. These three make 21 that I have found since February 1st 2021. I have to keep on telling myself oh, just don't give up you'll find some more. I'm glad you found some this week also, :#

    I have been looking in the Tucson area for the past year and a half and zero found. You guys are lucky.

    @CoinCrazyPA I think a lot of it has to do with being able to get into a Bank lobby and get rolls of quarters from a teller. First two years of the pandemic all the lobbies were closed in my area. I finally found a bank that was really friendly and I can go in twice a day and get whatever they'll let me have. This morning I got 20 rolls and when I return them I was able to get 8 new rolls. Just finding friendly tellers in a bank I think is the key. Don't give up hunting they're still out there. :)

    @Jzyskowski1 I think the key is being able to find a bank where you can source 20, 30, 40 or 50 rolls of quarters a week. I've been fortunate enough to find such a bank in my area. When I open my account I specifically asked them if I would be able to get rolls of coins, specifically quarters and be able to return them to the bank. They said yes that is not a problem at this Bank. The words were true and I've been able to go in and out of the bank with rolls of pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters almost any day I walk into the bank and ask. I believe that's the key and also been rather lucky like I was today is the other part. Just keep on hunting and searching because they still are out there. This quarter is just hard to find. :D

    My WellsFargo gives me $500 boxes, but no luck. They're mostly all circulated older quarters.

    I have not even looked for any in 6 months. Maybe I will go down and get a box next week.

    I got one in change and found another in a $500 box. Since then nothing...and I pay using cash chasing more quarters!

    Yes all are welcome who have not been blessed with a “W “ in the wild. Now I think that Ricko and myself, maybe a couple other folks are not searching rolls at $500 a box or a handful of rolls. I believe we are talking about receiving one in change. I speak for myself and am guessing at Ricko’s response based on his posts.

    You will never find a 2021-W quarter because they were only made in 2019 and 2020😉

    Yes.... I, and @Jzyskowski1, and a couple of others, have been searching change for W quarters, not roll searching. So far, no luck. Almost tempted to give in and get a couple of rolls.... Nah...I will continue the hunt. :D I do ask for dollar change in quarters at the market... Cheers, RickO

    My 1st "W" quarter was from change at Harbor Freight on 2-1-2021. The other 20 that I have found since them have all come from Bank rolls. These quarters are just getting hard to find, but they are still out there if you want to spend the time to hunt. Good luck and happy Hunting. Jon
