ErrorKings Lucky days!!!

Ya'll sit back and relax because in a second your mind is about to be blown. I've been quite lucky to start this new year off but didn't expect this. Ok I sat down tonight to look through my massive pile of coins that's been waiting for me to look through and almost immediately I see a Lincoln penny that doesn't look quite right. It's a 2007 and the color is a little off so as I pick it up to give it a closer look. BAM it's a GOLD cent. Yes somehow struck on a gold coin I have no idea how but it sure is a Golden Cent. Might as well call it quits I can't top that right. WRONG!! Not even 5 coins later I'm staring at a Millard Fillmore Pres dollar. When wouldn't you know it the same thing it's struck on a GOLD planchet. Did I tell you I've been lucky this year. Let me share with you my last 2 finds before these. Same pile of change I lift up a quarter. Just a 1977-P looks a little fat I drop it on the table and ring that sound a silver coin makes. It's struck on a 40% Bi-Cen planchet. The next day I'm telling one of my friends about this coin and joking around I tell him I'm gonna pair it up. That very night while looking at more quarters you not gonna believe this. But yup I paired it up 1977D struck on a 40% Bi-Cen. I should run right out and buy a few lottery tickets because this shit is crazy. What did I say is your mind blown yet? Well mine is. Next step pcgs and then Great Collections auction for some of my recent finds. The ErrorKing strikes again.

Welcome to the forum!
My best find was a 1916 D dime in a box of Cracker Jacks.
Didn’t realize today was the first day of April
Will be difficult to believe without showing the weights of these coins on an accurate scale.
We can't wait!
Only “difficult”? 😉

I found these two in a CoinStar reject bin . . . .

It's most likely gold plated for use in a cheap piece of jewelry. If you really think it's gold get it slabbed by a major grading service.

Sure is fun to dream, isn't it?
As I said in a prior thread, I get this daily in the shop, gold plated coins from tv shopping venues, plated this, and that and folks seeing things that arent there, just yesterday I had a guy tell me not only did he find the 58 DDO Lincoln, but was lucky enough to find 2.
He was clearly seeing double
This is amateur trolling. A professional troll would have a story that was remotely believable. Maybe any ONE of those "errors".
Little something to start your day with, lol.
Well bless your heart. How thoughtful ! Ricko nailed it again. This belongs in the humor thread. And now I put you on ignore. Thanks 🤨

Hey everyone I’m a new collector and I just heard about people finding old coins and silver coins in rolls of coins from the bank so I decided to give it a try.
So I ordered a box of half dollars from the bank and about 10 rolls in I found this copper coin slightly smaller than a half dollar. On the front, there is a picture of Lady Liberty that looks almost like she is scared, and on the back it says “ONE CENT” and “1/100” inside of a chain. The year is 1793. Pretty crazy to find something that old but I know that old doesn’t always mean rare or valuable. Does anyone know if this could be rare or valuable?

I got a nice one. . Actually I love this one as I could never afford a nice one I bought this! Sorry no 1/100

Gold penny's, silver quarters...Lucky!
I'd have those things cleaned up in salt and vinegar and shipped off for an express submission so fast..
Gold is a very inert metal so you need something stronger. Maybe a mix of hydrochloric and nitric acid in a 3:1 ratio might work.
