1839 Seated Half Dollar

I recently bought this half dollar raw. I believe it would grade VF25 to VF30. Any thoughts on the grade of this coin?

    I agree with your assessment.
(It almost looked tooled, at first- the skirt lines looked engraved...)

I think it falls within the vf25-is area, looks like WB-7.

If only that obverse had a bust of Liberty wearing a cap. Easy $60k coin.

    Nice pick up.

It looks nice and gradable but should be knocked down to VF25 because of nicks.

Very nice eye appeal. Your grade range is accurate IMHO. Congratulations.

VF25 with surfaces original enough to be a CAC candidate at that grade, with or without the nicks. Nice raw purchase.

Appears to have original surfaces... vf25/30 looks to be about right.
