DO YOU THINK A LOT OF GOLD BEANS WILL BE GIVEN OUT IN 2022?

It seems like we are finally getting coins back from TPG( mine from ANA) , do you think based on what grades you are getting, that a lot of Gold CAC beans might be in your future?

I don't know. The CAC web site has a chat room now and they may be able to answer your question.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
It's just an opinion. Collectors need to learn to grade and make their own decisions.
It may be JUST an opinion, but it takes the issue a big step farther than just "grading."
Yeh yeh.... I know... they affirm GRADES,
I think it's that collectors need to learn whether they want a sticker on their coins.
My answer would be I have no, zero, nada , zip idea what will happen tomorrow. Wait, I know. Let’s “flip a coin”😂
No seriously that’s an interesting question. Is there a reason why you might lean either way? Or just exploring for curiosity? Unless there’s a drop of quality coins on the market and I’m not sure how to predict that. 😉

On the CAC Forum, they posted the percentage of green and gold stickers for the entire existence of the company. Only .52% of submitted coins were awarded a gold bean. In other words, about 1 out of every 200 coins gets the gold.
I don't see that percentage changing unless submitters become a lot more discriminating.

Seems like NGC has made another turn towards conservative grades so I would expect there will be some. Too bad there is no digital tag for coins that are not just 'C' verified but overgraded.
From what I have seen NGC has been very conservative over the past few years which might lead to a slight uptick if those get submitted. However It is my opinion that this host has not been overly conservative recently; and that will likely lead many to crack or cross (at a higher grade) those newer NGC graded coins before they have a chance to be submitted. So while there may be an opportunity for more gold beans I think the likely hood is you will see less going forward.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
I really really really hope so! The green ones remind me of split pea soup which I don't care for. The gold ones are like delicious cheese.
The green ones are like Mr. Yuck stickers.
Such a prediction would only result if collectors only submitted coins of exceptional quality. That is both unlikely and certainly unpredictable. Cheers, RickO
We have to be getting close to the point that a vast majority of coins that are commonly traded have made their way to CAC.
If forced to guess, I’d guess a downward trend in the number of beans.
I suppose there are untapped reservoirs of thousands upon thousands of under $100 coins that could go to CAC and get beaned... But they probably won't because it isn't worth the trouble.
Grading seems really tight IMO, all things being equal, does that mean that translate into more Gold Beans? Simply put , does grade deflation equal more CAC 'd coins?
PS- I think that under grading is also damaging to the coin industry...grading companies should be calling balls and strikes, nothing more, nothing less
Even regular beans are a 40% shot with so many multiple submissions of the same coins to beggar the imagination. It's a giant leap to be a point and a half undergraded, the question is why were the graders and finalizer off that much?
Maybe over time, toning in the slab hides some scuffs, so the net grade increases...
I am referring to newly graded and fresh coins( not regrades) agree with what your saying about stuff that been around.
Perhaps NGC is trying to get gold beans! They have been a real money maker for me in the Barber Series. I'm talking about many coins undergraded by as many as 20 points! I actively seek out freshly graded Barbers in NGC holders!
In my opinion, not sure why anyone has to put down coins in a particular slab (especially when it is our host). Just enjoy the coins you have and dont be negative about the grading service others choose (I collect PCGS only).
I just received 5 coins back from CAC. Before shipping I always write down my opinions on what they will do. The 3 I was convinced were under graded missed completely. The 2 I thought were middle to low got green.
I'm questioning my sanity.
No, I don't see gold beans often given.
No. They don't give anything away.
