I’m not sure if the NGC slabs fit in these new PCGS boxes to be honest. For a few years now, I’ve just put the slabs in their respective boxes, so I honestly haven’t tried it.
I looked around today but I guess I don’t have any ICG, not that I have a problem with them. For that matter I like anacs new and old. I was hoping to compare. Oh well, I’ll wind up with one because I’m not concerned about the 4 main companies. I prefer to buy the coin but do like the bonus of certification. I’m learning to appreciate the early slabs as well. Collectible 😉
Now all that may change if I start selling 🙀
It has met my expectations. All NGC slabs I have fit, newer ANACS fit, SEGS fits, Lighthouse fits, and all PCGS fits - even the gold seal slabs that do not fit in an NGC box. Basically, I have found nothing that doesn't fit. I did order some of the rattler/small anacs adapters to try out as well.
The design seems to be similar to the 10 coin box which I have also used based on the design of the cover and the stacking feet. Also available on Amazon.
Dimensions on the box are similar to an NGC box but about 1/4" longer.
I do not plan to convert all my boxes over - just the few that I use to take to shows or that house a set of mixed slabs.

Do you still need to take the lid off, to fit in a standard deposit box?

I don't know as I have a relatively large deposit box so most any coin storage fits.
Dimensions of the blue box is 2.75" wide x 3 9/16" high x 10 3/8" long.
Length may be an issue for some as well as height.

I don't see a black one either.
Black boxes are actually orange. True fact!

I really like using one of these at a coin show rather than a blue box when I'm shopping. It's compact and holds all TPGs' slabs while closed securely.

In @ECHOES image, what's the origin of the three deeper green boxes at upper right? Are those from long ago?
I actually only own two PCGS boxes, acquired about 20 years ago, and they are the colors of the dark green and dark blue shown in the image.

Thanks about the tip about the old green boxes -- kinda what I figured. The ones in the image look like they're Gem Uncirculated, to boot. Also thanks @ECHOES -- the rattler boxes were my next question. I've never even seen a picture of one.
(I gotta believe there's some interest in rattler boxes and someone should be making them today. The gold-sticker people alone might make it worthwhile.)

Nope, the dang ngc won’t hold pcgs and ngc doesn’t fit in the pcgs box’s

I kinda figured. The older PCGS will fit in the NGC, but not the current slabs.

Do you think that (maybe) PCGS did this on purpose? I do.

I believe so, it's the tall stacking tabs that get in the way. Sure, they are indeed tougher, but it's funny how it keeps them out of the other boxes.

@asheland
Perfect timing. I ordered one of these boxes on Amazon to see how it might work for me. It arrived today.

I think a "universal box" would be quite the useful thing... to sell commercially...
...edited to add: and I just clicked on Cameonut's link! awesome!

Sent coins in on 10/7/2021. The grades just popped yesterday. I am hoping I still get the gold box. I short all the other ones.

Yes, those are the old green boxes that were issued with the old green holders.
Can't forget these...
