Happy New Year guys!
While CRHunting I came across these BU Guam Quarters. Obviously, somebody threw their Quarter collection away. I actually found about 25 of these Guam's. These 7 Strike Throughs and 2 BU others I saved. The rest weren't worth saving. What are the odds of finding a small run of these Strike Throughs, all struck identically in the same areas? Here are the 7 along with the 2 Beauties! Thanks guys :)

2 BU's

Could be a small die break.

Has to be on the die, I would think.

    Raised, die break.

Incused, struck thru (if not PMD).

Really no way to confuse the two. ;)

Not a strike through, a die crack. That is why it repeats on so many coins.

You can have repeaters on strikethroughs. They could diminish or change over time as the debris moves or dislodges.

It's raised. A strike through would be incuse.

It is raised, so not a strike through, in addition, there is significant difference between the two you have pictured... which would indicate progression of the die crack. Cheers, RickO
