1917 Type One quarters tend to come well struck and are relatively common in high grades. Unfortunately your coin has been harshly cleaned and has a spot in a high visibility area. If you are considering the purchase of this coin I would advise you to pass.

I’m not sure if the auction house photo of mine is sharp enough when expanded to help show you a Full Head that’s approved by PCGS and CAC.
